BAY SHORE, NY – The Bay Shore Fire Department along with the West Islip Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Howells Road and 5^th Avenue on Friday, May 8, 2009. Reports of an entrapped victim came in as crews were responding to the call.

Not far from their fire house, Bay Shore, West Islip and the Bay Shore-Brightwaters Rescue Ambulance operated on scene. Multiple patients from both vehicles were transported to Southside Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
